NEACAC Summer Institute

The New England Association of College Admissions Counselors (NEACAC) Summer Institute for new and nearly new secondary school counselors and college admission professionals will be held from Monday, July 28 through Thursday, July 31, on the Champlain College campus in Burlington, VT.  The Summer Institute offers instruction, information, advice, and networking opportunities for counselors and admission staff with less than one year of experience working in the field.  Faculty include professionals from "both sides of the desk" with extensive experience and expertise.  The Champlain College campus provides a beautiful setting for four days of classes, hands on activities, and socializing.  The pace is rigorous and the amount of material covered is formidable, but participants leave with a veritable arsenal of professional tools.

The cost of attendance is $525 for NEACAC members and $545 for non-members. Scholarships are available; please check the NEACAC website for more information and to see if you qualify. The cost covers room and board from noon Monday through Thursday morning, with a sack lunch provided at the end of the last session on Thursday. Participants who would like to come on Sunday may pay an extra $50 for overnight accommodations and breakfast Monday morning.
