The NEASC Commission on Independent Schools, one of the three commissions of NEASC, supports a wide range of private schools in New England including traditional boarding and day preparatory schools, private elementary schools, schools serving students with special needs, and religiously affiliated schools of many faiths.
A commitment to engaging with the greater community is one of the NEASC Standards for Accreditation for independent schools because we recognize that nurturing school-community partnerships enhances students' experience, regardless of whether they are boarding or day.
