New Director for Accreditation and School Improvement announced
Congratulations to Alyson Geary!
We are pleased to announce that Alyson Geary has been selected to lead the NEASC Commission on Public Schools in the position of Director for Accreditation and School Improvement. She will assume responsibility for the leadership and day-to-day operations of the Commission and will be the primary point of contact for schools and members of the Commission. Alyson has worked at NEASC for eight years and brings a wealth of knowledge and experience to this role. Her new role is effective immediately.
Alyson is a highly respected educator who has been both an assistant principal and principal at Hopkinton High School in Massachusetts. Prior to joining the NEASC staff in 2013, Alyson served as a member of the Commission on Public Secondary Schools, chairing several visiting teams for decennial accreditation visits. She received her BA from Brigham Young University, and her EdM in School Leadership from Harvard.
