Learning from Crisis: How we can deepen our understanding of student challenges
Learning from Crisis: How we can deepen our understanding of student challenges (April 23, 2024)
All schools have faced a variety of challenges, crises and emergencies over the years. Each of these situations provides us with an opportunity to learn, grow, and address those events, perhaps, in a different way. Decoding student challenges, identifying repetitive patterns, and putting aside "myths" about student behavior can help educators understand what can be learned from a crisis or challenging student behaviors. Join Charlie Manos, LMFT, school leader and mental health specialist, as he leads a timely and critical conversation on learning from crises and challenges to better understand our students and support their needs.
