Leveraging Schoolwide SEL to Create Supportive and Equitable Learning Environments
Leveraging Schoolwide SEL to Create Supportive and Equitable Learning Environments (January 10, 2022)
CASEL trainers illustrate how their five core SEL competencies can come to life throughout the school environment and outline an implementation process.
Participants will:
--reflect on their current approach to SEL and consider which aspects of SEL represent their best next steps.
--examine indicators of high-quality SEL implementation
--review CASEL’s theory of action for implementing social and emotional learning throughout the whole system
--discuss SEL implementation challenges and strategies for addressing challenge
Guidance is field-tested and shaped by CASEL’s decade-long partnership with school districts nationwide.
Presented by CASEL:
Dr. Pamela Randall, Senior Staff Advisor, CASEL
