New International Accreditation Leader
Please help us provide a warm welcome to the newest member of NEASC’s Commission on International Education, Honayda Saadeh, as she steps into the role of International Accreditation Leader.
Honayda comes to NEASC with over 30 years of experience and expertise in school leadership, strategic and improvement planning, quality assurance, and teacher training. Her significant experience with the NEASC Accreditation process has developed over the past eight years while serving as a Visiting Team member and Chair for a long list of schools, as well as through assisting schools preparing for their initial accreditation visits as an education consultant and trainer. Having primarily worked and studied in the Middle East, Honayda will provide a unique connection to and strong support for the growing number of NEASC-Accredited schools in the region through mentorship, training, and curated professional learning opportunities.
With a background in educational leadership and teacher training ranging from early childhood through secondary school, Honayda understands firsthand how to create engaging, positive, high-quality learning environments. Her proven ability to bring school communities together in the spirit of collaborative self-reflection and passion for student-centered education will make her an invaluable resource for the schools we partner with.
Among other notable achievements, Honayda holds a BA in Early Childhood Education from the Lebanese American University, MEd in Educational Administration & Policy Studies from the American University of Beirut, and a Certificate in School Management and Leadership from Harvard Business School Online.
