As director, Edie leads a robust team of accreditation professionals dedicated to supporting independent schools in adapting to the changing needs in education. 

Prior to joining NEASC in 2024, Edie served as the Assistant Head of School for Faculty and Academics at the Taft School in Watertown, CT. While at Taft, she was responsible for leading daily school operations as well as strategic planning, policy review and coordination, and recruiting, hiring, onboarding, and retaining faculty. She managed 130 faculty with direct supervision of the dean of academics, dean of faculty, academic department heads, and multiple directors. 

Edie has volunteered on at least two NEASC accreditation visiting teams, has served on multiple task forces and committees, and presented at numerous professional conferences, including on topics related to organizational design, change management, and advancing equity and fostering inclusive practices in learning communities. 

She has participated in professional development programs offered by the Harvard School of Education, the Teacher’s College, Columbia University, and the University of Pennsylvania Graduate School of Education, among others. 

Edie earned her doctorate degree in education from Vanderbilt University, Peabody College of Education, in Nashville. She earned her bachelor’s degree and a Master of Arts in Liberal Studies from Wesleyan University in Middletown, CT.
