Sharyn Skrtic
International Accreditation Leader
Prior to joining NEASC as an International Accreditation Leader, Sharyn served as a peer visitor on NEASC Accreditation teams in Europe and Asia. After moving into international school education in Europe in 2005, she has held teaching and senior leadership positions at international schools in Germany, Hong Kong, Singapore, Finland, and Japan, including PYP Coordinator, Principal, and Head of Learning.
Sharyn began working with the IB Primary Years Programme (PYP) in 2005 and has been an International Baccalaureate Educator Network (IBEN) Member since 2013, serving as a workshop leader for both online and face-to-face workshops as well as supporting schools as Programme Leader and Reader. She also supports the PYP Community as a moderator on the IB Exchange.
Sharyn holds a bachelor's in education from John Carroll University, a master's in Curriculum and Instruction from Cleveland State University, and a Certificate of International Leadership from the Principal’s Training Centre (PTC). Sharyn is a native of Cleveland, Ohio, and is currently based in both The Netherlands and the US with her husband.
