Administrators, teachers, and students from Frankfurt International School in Germany and the New England Innovation Charter School in the US discuss how they redesigned the use of time and space in their schools with the creation of flex days. How to maximize student collaboration, experimentation, and agency and allow innovation to flourish in a learning community with intentional planning and a flexible mindset were reviewed.
