Limited to trained/approved NEASC Visitors, this session is designed to prepare those who also wish to serve on Joint Accreditation teams. This workshop will be a combination of presentation, small group work, and active peer collaboration.
It is our pleasure to welcome Edie Traina, EdD, as our new Director for the Commission on Independent Schools.
Following a rigorous and comprehensive search this past spring, the search committee unanimously selected Ms. Traina, Assistant Head of School for Faculty and Academics at The Taft School, as the leader to serve the needs of our diverse group of independent schools. She will join the NEASC team this August.
This workshop prepares participants to become NEASC approved accreditation visitors for international schools and includes a comprehensive overview of the NEASC protocols in action. Participants will develop an understanding of the philosophical foundations and logistical processes involved in all NEASC accreditation pathways. Aspiring visitors will be introduced to the NEASC visitor competencies which will guide development and growth of personal skills and attributes.
